Using Our Launderettes
By using a Speed Queen self-servicelaunderette, you agree to use our facilities responsibly and follow theinstructions displayed in-store and on our machines.
Customers are responsible for:
Checking garment care labelsbefore washing or drying.
Checking machines before use andreporting any faults immediately.
Emptying pockets before loadingmachines.
Selecting the correct machine sizefor their laundry.
Leaving machines and surroundingareas clean after use.
Suitable Laundry
Our machines are designed for everydayhousehold laundry.
Please do not wash or dry:
Dry-clean-only items.
Items contaminated with hazardousmaterials or chemicals.
Rubber-backed, tar-covered orflammable items.
Fabrics requiring specialistcleaning.
Where available, pet laundry should onlybe washed in designated Pet Zone machines.
Machine Use
For the best results:
Do not overload machines.
Follow the instructions displayedon the machine.
Ensure the drum is empty beforeloading your laundry.
Close the door securely beforestarting a cycle.
Failure to follow these instructions mayaffect washing or drying performance.
Respecting Our Stores
To help keep our launderettes safe andwelcoming for everyone, please:
Dispose of rubbish responsibly.
Keep noise to a minimum.
Respect other customers.
Avoid anti-social behaviour.
Do not smoke or vape inside ourstores.
Unattended Laundry
You're welcome to leave the store whileyour laundry is washing or drying.
Please return promptly when your cyclefinishes. Laundry left unattended for more than 10 minutes after a cycle hasended may be removed by another customer if machines are required.
Speed Queen accepts no responsibility forlaundry that is lost, stolen or left unattended.
Lost Property
If you believe you've left an itembehind, please contact our Customer Support team as soon as possible. We'llmake every reasonable effort to help locate lost property, however we cannotguarantee that lost items will be recovered.
Liability
Customers use our facilities at their ownrisk.
Speed Queen is not responsible for:
Damage resulting from failure tofollow garment care instructions.
Pre-existing defects or weaknessesin fabrics.
Colour loss, shrinkage or normalwear during laundering.
Laundry or personal belongingsthat are lost, stolen or left unattended.
